AVIMETAL Unveils Upgraded MT-CuCrZr Copper Powder for Reliable AM AVIMETAL has overcome key challenges in copper alloy additive manufacturing—high reflectivity, poor printability, and inconsistent properties—with its newly upgraded MT-CuCrZr powder. Featuring full-chain optimization from composition to process, the powder delivers high electrical/thermal conductivity, strength, and wear resistance at elevated temperatures. Now produced at scale (300 tons/year), MT-CuCrZr is proven in demanding applications like rocket engine chambers, EV connectors, and precision electrodes. It’s fully compatible with AVIMETAL’s MT-series printers (MT170H to MT1300) and joins a broader portfolio including CuSn and GRCop alloys for aerospace, new energy, and power electronics.
